Katie Westmoreland creates custom hand painted wall murals for residential and commercial spaces. Each piece is painted entirely free-hand, directly onto the wall. From a distance, the wall paintings are often mistaken for wallpaper. However, the patterns do not repeat and are completely one-of-a-kind. Up close, the textures of the paint and brush strokes are visible, revealing the true material of the work. Each mural is made with varying finishes, from matte to gloss, allowing the imagery to shift dynamically in response to the changing light in the space.
